Growing up in St. Louis, Amy Feder wanted to be either a lounge singer or a rabbi. Twenty years into the rabbinate, she’s finally getting to do both. As the co-senior rabbi of Congregation Temple Israel (to which Amy is donating her proceeds,) Amy has worked to bring music into the hearts and lives of her community. She’s known for including music in her teaching, preaching, and every other opportunity she has to perform.
A St. Louis native, Amy studied music and Judaic Studies at the University of Michigan, where she also taught voice lessons, music theory and composition. Since
