In Team M, the world premiere of a new musical written by Dr. Philip Woodmore, the audience is invited to a weekly support group meeting, in the heart of Macey, Indiana. Here, we meet eight people who come together under the guidance of their support group leader and the broader community to explore notions of wellness. As the musical progresses, deep concerns surrounding mental health and the mental health industry come to light through powerful songs and stories, intertwined with broader issues of race, identity, and inclusion.
